CPS students displayed their art work in a large exhibition that was shown throughout the college. Students also gave musical performances in concert bands, choirs, orchestras and Orff ensembles in four different venues in the college. Dance performances and drama performances were also presented by CPS students in grades 3-12.

The Collage concept was designed and coordinated by Suzanne Nall, art instructor at Parker Woods Montessori. The Collage will be on public display at DAAP until June 10th.

In celebration of this unique day’s event, the mayor of Cincinnati, John Cranley, proclaimed May 20th as Children’s Day – El Dia De Los Ninos  in Cincinnati.  Assistant CPS Superintendent Bill Myles read the proclamation during the closing ceremony.  Dean Robert Probst also spoke of the historic partnership between DAAP and CPS that has begun as a result of the success of this event.
